This is the biggest CS2 update in the past few weeks, and it almost makes up for the fact that Valve completely ignored the second CS2 anniversary on September 27.
Although this update didn’t improve crucial features such as the matchmaking or the anti-cheating, it’s all in all a solid patch, considering there’s new content to check out.
Here are the best bits of this new patch.

Valve introduced Golden, Palacio, Rooftop, and Transit — four maps created by the CS2 community — to the game.
Though none of these maps are available in Premier, they all seem fun and beautiful. And, who knows, maybe Valve will buy one of them one day, like they did with Cache, and add it to the official rotation.
As a result of the additions, Jura, Grail, Dogtown, and Brewery are no longer available in CS2. But if you like these maps, you can download them in the Steam Workshop and play them in a custom server.
There are 45 new charms distributed across the Missing Link Community Charms and the Dr. Boom collections.
The Dr. Boom charms are very different, because they’re shaped after an HE grenade. As for the charms in the Missing Link Community Charms collection, they’re different versions of the standard sausage man.
If you have lost the charms’ train when Valve first introduced the item to CS2 in 2024, they’re a decorative key chain that players hung on weapons. These two collections can be found in The Armory.
Valve added nine stickers for the Sugarface 2 collection and 29 stickers created by community artists to the 2025 Community collection.
These stickers can be attached to weapons, just like the traditional team logos and player autographs from the Majors.
Like the new charms, you can buy these stickers in The Armory.
Out of all the gameplay updates in this CS2 update, the new AWP scope got the most attention.
Though this won’t affect the AWP’s mechanics, the scope crosshair got a visual update. This is what Valve had to say about the scope change:
- Fixed incorrect pixel offset for greater than one pixel width sniper scope.
- Added inaccuracy representation in sniper scopes.
In case you want to keep the AWP scope as it was, without the inaccuracy representation, enter this command in the console: “cl_sniper_show_inaccuracy 0”
On top of that, deaths to the C4 will now count in the scoreboard, and there’s a limited Zeus-x27 kill streak bonus in Deathmatch mode.
Additionally, Valve pushed some minor changes, which you can read in the official patch notes.
