CS2 players are obsessed with skin cleanliness, and a new player may have just opened the lowest float skin in the history of the game.
In Counter-Strike 2, float refers to a numerical value that determines the wear condition of a skin. It ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, with lower values indicating better condition and higher values reflecting more wear. Some floats, however, are rarer than others, especially in lower values. Unlocking those in case drops is rare, and it takes players hundreds of case openings and years to land a low float. We are looking at years of waiting for the lowest skin float in CS2.
So, when fans noticed a new skin appeared in the list of CS2 skins with the lowest floats, they were curious about the lucky owner and their new skin.
Currently, the CS2 skin with the lowest float is an AUG | Eye of Zapems owned by a player named mnyrr, who has a total of 88 hours played.
mnyrr’s AUG | Eye of Zapems is in pristine condition at 0.00000000019 float, which is the lowest possible float for 0.0-0.85 float caps. That makes them the luckiest CS2 player at the moment, beating the former title owner by a margin of 0.00000000071 float. Previously, an M249 | Gator Mesh was the CS2 skin with the lowest float, but that has now been changed.
While all eyes are on mnyrr’s skins, some fans are just curious if the owner is aware of the rare treasure that could be worth a fortune in the CS2 market. This is due to his low experience in CS2. Mnyrr currently has 88 hours of playtime, which is nothing compared to serial case unlockers who spend years in hopes of getting a rare skin float.
It’s possible that mnyrr’s is an older player on a new profile, or owns the game simply for trading purposes, explaining the low playtime. But, the CS2 community is concerned and curious nonetheless. Since Mnyrr’s profile is private, it’s hard to tell if he knows the value or what he plans to do with the skin. Still, his incredible luck has sparked new excitement among CS2 players, encouraging many to start opening cases again.
