CS2 callouts for Cache explained with images

Cache CS2 mid

CS2 has multiple intricate maps like Cache with specific callouts that players must properly learn to dominate the map.

Like every defuse map in Counter-Strike 2, Cache has two bomb sites, A and B. While A has a couple of direct routes that terrorists can enter, B only has one. Counter-terrorists need to know the name of every point of entry and what corners the opponents can hide at, while terrorists must remember the names of every route on the map to coordinate good attacks. Even though Cache isn’t in Counter-Strike 2 yet, leaks suggest a remade version will be added to the game. With that in mind, it’s a good idea for players to learn it before it returns.

Despite having many small areas scattered throughout the map, learning Cache’s callouts are simple and easy in CS2.

Cache callouts on the CS2 map itself

CS2 provides the names of most callouts in-game, but since Cache isn’t added to the game yet, players will have to learn them on their own.

Like most maps, Cache has a couple of callouts with multiple names. For example, the CS community also calls rafters heaven thanks to its high altitude, a term borrowed from other CS2 maps. Another place that confuses players is the corner of hell, as some people call it van while say ttree.

A place that changes a lot is the area under heaven. In most maps, the place under it is usually called hell, but since that name is used in a different area, players often call that area blue since it’s next to a blue wall.

What does boost mean in CS2?

In CS2, a boost is when players jump on top of each other to reach an otherwise inaccessible spot.

The boosting technique is often used to create angles from high places or to reach previously unreachable areas. As a result, many players call these spots boost as a callout. Cache has a few boosting spots that players utilize. One common spot that players boost onto is the small building next to garage. Another area that requires boosting to climb onto is the truck near the T spawn. Knowing the callouts for Cache will make it easier to coordinate boosts on your team or counter the enemy’s manuever.

Even though CS2 does share these callouts in-game, it’s better to know them beforehand for quick and effective communication.
