BC.Game, the current team of Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, has benched Luca “pr1metapz” Voigt this Friday, October 2. The organization announced that German rifler is leaving the active lineup due to personal reasons.
Pr1metapz was the only player left from BC.Game’s original roster, when the organization entered CS2 esports in June 2024. He played 291 maps for BC.Game, and averaged a respectable 1.07 rating.
As one of the OG members of BC Game Esports, Luca has been with us since the very beginning – playing a huge role in shaping our roster, our history, and our identity as a team.
He’ll still play a few matches with us while we search for a replacement. Luca has our full support, and we’re deeply grateful for his dedication and contribution to our team.
The benching comes a little over a week after pr1metapz helped BC.Game to win ESL Challenger League Season 50 Europe Cup #2 and qualify for ECL Season 50 Europe Finals. The campaign saw BC.Game earned 97 Valve Regional Standings (VRS) points and climbed 13 positions in the global ranking.
It’s currently unclear who BC.Game will sign to replace pr1metapz, but a lot of CS2 fans already have the perfect name in mind.

Earlier this week, after FaZe Clan benched Håvard “rain” Nygaard, and s1mple reposted the Norwegian’s personal statement, fans started thinking about the possibility of BC.Game adding rain.
Back then, there was no indication that BC.Game was benching a player, but many saw s1mple’s repost as a sign. The Ukrainian and the Norwegian played together for a short time in FaZe, in which they’ve made the playoffs at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.
For many fans, if BC.Game adds rain, they’d instantly become a tier-one team. After all, rain spent almost the last 10 years of his career playing Counter-Strike at the highest level for FaZe.
During that time, rain helped FaZe lift numerous important trophies, including the PGL Antwerp Major in 2022 and the Intel Grand Slam in 2023, and made the FaZe name synonymous with an international powerhouse in CS esports.
Besides, rain has an established brand and would be another high-profile for BC.Game. If the organization truly intends to keep s1mple, they ought to build a good team around him, to climb the ranking and compete against the top teams in the world in tier-one events.
During his short time with BC.Game, s1mple already proved that he’s way too good to be playing in lesser tournaments. Should BC.Game goes for rain, s1mple would feel more motivated to stay there for the 2026 season.
But, as of now, this is merely what the fans want. BC.Game will have time to find a new player, as the ESL Challenger League Season 50 Europe Finals only kick off on November 18.
