For the third time in a row, NIP is featured in our Match of the Day. The leaders in Group A will look to keep their perfect track record against MOUZ.

The match will see two AWPers who have honed their trait in the WePlay Academy League go head-to-head.

One more win needed

In the previous season of EPL, three wins were enough to secure a spot in the playoffs. The only exception was FaZe Clan, who MOUZ and Fnatic beat in a tiebreaker.

But if NIP wins today, their record against their direct rivals for the spot will all but guarantee them a playoff berth.

The Ninjas have made it this far thanks to solid performances from Frederik “REZ” Sterner, who is looking to silence the criticism about his consistency raised at the start of the new season.

But all eyes will be on AWPer Love “Phzy” Smidebrand as he faces off against a familiar rival on the other side of the server.

The slow starters

MOUZ started their campaign with a painful loss against Entropiq but recovered in yesterday’s clash against G2.

MOUZ are looked very solid, with Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras and David “frozen” Cernansky bearing the standard of their success.

But in today’s matchup, they will need rookie AWPer Adam “torszi” Torszas to step up.

He made a name for himself against G2 with *that* clutch yesterday and proves that MOUZ finally has the reliable firepower on the big green.

MOUZ has to remain close to flawless if they want to make it to the playoffs and can’t drop the ball against the Ninjas.
