All the new swimsuit art from Hololive Island Vacation

Hololive just dropped a choose-your-own-adventure series on YouTube called Secret Island Vacation, with swimsuit art galore.

For a diverse vtuber experience, few agencies do it better than Hololive. Although streams remain their bread and butter, the multimedia approach has paid off for Hololive in spades. From anime like Holo Grafitti to indie video games like HoloCure, fans have a bevy of ways to experience the talents.

Anime fans have one medium they’ve always wanted from Hololive: visual novels. Minato Aqua’s Aquarium’s Aquarium” received stellar reviews from fans, yet Hololive hasn’t really gone back to the visual novel well too often. However, fans can scratch that itch for a bit with the Hololive English Secret Island Vacation series.

What is Hololive Secret Island Vacation?

Hololive Secret Island Vacation is a choose-your-own-adventure series on YouTube.

Similar to the online web series In Space with Markiplier, viewers can choose their routes through the island vacation. The viewer takes on the role of a vacation manager, hired specifically by Yagoo to keep the Hololive English talents in check.

Each Hololive English talent featured in the game also has an official new swimsuit, which will undoubtedly spawn tons of new fan art. Island Vacation features 16 total choices, as the player must initially pick from four groups of four, then decide which oshi to follow.

Hololive may make the Hololive English series a yearly tradition

Secret Island Vacation is the successor to 2023’s Hololive  Valentine’s Day celebration. While Island Vacation features official swimsuit art for the Hololive talents, Valentine’s Day had them in casual date fashion. Not every talent makes it into these series, so a yearly tradition would help cover all bases.

Notably, Gura and Mumei do not appear for Vacation Island despite their presence during Valentine’s Day. These YouTube series could be Hololive testing the waters for an official visual novel for Hololive English talents somewhere down the line.

In the meantime, viewers who enjoyed the Secret Island Vacation can also purchase voice packs from the official Hololive store. These voice packs occur before the series proper, taking place on the cruise towards the beach.
