Natus Vincere's in-game leader Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov has tested positive ahead of his team's opening match at IEM Katowice against ENCE. He will play the group stage of the event from Isolation.
Covid-19 continues to strike at IEM Katowice. Faze's Robin "ropz" Kool is currently already quarantining in Katowice, and Mouz' Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras staying home due to an infection.
With Tyloo not being able to attend the event due to travel restrictions and Complexity having to forfeit due to multiple cases in the team, it is now Na'Vi's turn to be struck by the disease.
Boombl4 will be able to play the group stage from isolation but needs to test negative to be able to participate in the playoffs of the event.

ESL forbids players from participating in the playoffs if they can't show up in the Spodek Arena.
It is unclear whether Na'Vi has registered a substitute player, with coach Andrii "B1ad3" Horodenskyi possibly having to make a return to playing.
