Following the conclusion of the PGL Antwerp Major, NAVI has announced that they will remove in-game leader Kiriil “boombl4” Mikhailov from their starting lineup. The move sees a three-year spell from the player on the team come to an end.
In an official statement, NAVI says it made the decision to avoid “high reputational risks for the club.”
The move comes after weeks of speculation about the lineup’s future, as the organization had made it clear it wanted its Russian players to move abroad following the invasion of Ukraine.
We’re ready to announce the changes in NAVI #CSGO roaster.

Boombl4 rose to prominence with a 6th-8th placed finish at the E League Boston Major 2018 with Quantum Bellator Fire and later continued to build his reputation on Winstrike.
His move to Na’Vi was a long time coming, after being picked by Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko to be his replacement.
Boombl4 is yet to comment on the news, and it’s unclear where his potential future may lie.
The CIS scene is undergoing a greater reshuffle, with Virtus.pro already announcing changes to its roster.
Na’Vi will next play at the BLAST Premier: Spring Finals, although what team they will field we are yet to see.
