Blood Red Day: No one is immune to LOSS STREAKS, not even Pros

crit

Every Dota player has experienced the agony of having a blood RED day, accounting for a huge drawdown in MMR points.

No one is more scared or triggered than the player having to witness -25 points deduction in ranked matchmaking, especially when the losses pile up into a hot red mess of a streak.

No one is immune, and I REPEAT, absolutely no one is immune to this painful experience – pro players as well as casual players.

Evil Geniuses’ Dota 2 captain, Andreas Franck “cr1t-” Nielsen, is no exception either.

One of the few pro players to reach 11,000 MMR, that too on the support role, recently had his own red day after consecutively losing more than 10 ranked games.

Surprising, eh?

Not really!

It’s a common phenomena every esports player experiences at least a couple of times in their lifetime.

This exact phenomena also acts like a double edged sword, that either lets you conquer your inner demons or to succumb to them.

Moral of the story: keep your chin up and head down. This too shall pass.
