Black Cat and Sabretooth Meowscles are the next Marvel skins coming to Fortnite.

Fortnite Chapter 5: Season 4 has been a feast for Marvel fans. Epic masterfully built up the hype for the current chapter through tidbits and events spread throughout the season. The mysterious Wanderer, which began haunting maps in the lead-up to Chapter 5: Season 4’s release, turned out to be none other than Victor Von Doom AKA Doctor Doom.

With Doom as the main antagonist of the Marvel-themed season, it made perfect sense for Marvel heroes to join the fight. From leaders like Captain America to goofballs like Gwenpool, there are a ton of Marvel references and characters to enjoy in Fortnite.

And now, two marvelously feline skins are coming to Fortnite.

Black Cat and Sabretooth-themed Meowscles skin in Fortnite

Black Cat and a Sabretooth-themed skin for Meowscles are coming to Fortnite, according to leakers.  ShiinaBR, a notable Fortnite leaker, revealed Spider-Man villain and sometimes-paramour Black Cat as the next femme fatale coming to Fortnite. Spider-Man and his rogues gallery will always be a draw for comic book fans, and Black Cat is one of the most anticipated.

Black Cat, real name Felicia Hardy, is an infamous cat burglar with a complicated relationship with Marvel’s iconic webhead. Her Fortnite incarnation mixes her classic comic look with the tactical stylings of modern designs.

Shiina also revealed a new Meowscles skin, the appropriately feline Sabretooth whose real name is Victor Creed. Unlike Meowscles, Sabretooth is a vicious villain, with crimes so heinous it makes even hated rival Wolverine flinch. Meowscles’ impressive size and ferocity do match Sabretooth’s savage design.

When will Black Cat and Sabretooth Meowscles skins release in Fortnite?

Black Cat and Sabretooth Meowscles will become available on Fortnite on September 4, 2024. The skins will reportedly be a part of Fortnite update 31.10, and is the first major patch of the Absolute Doom season. In addition to the new skins, Marvel-themed mythics such as Shuri Claws will also premiere. There will also be upcoming Super Styles for the Battle Pass, and these will include Captain Jonesy in the MCU Captain America Stealth Suit.

Overall, the Marvel x Fortnite partnership continues to please for Marvel fans. And more new skins are likely still waiting in the wings.
