While most teams in the world kept the same roster between the Winter and Spring splits in 2026, TES replaced most of theirs. Bai “369” Jia-Hao stepped down asking for time to readjust his gameplay, while Yu “JackeyLove” Wen-Bo came back from his health break. As for their jungler, he got permabanned for intentionally losing them the first split.
Due to these changes, Top Esports is the least predictable roster as they’re still building their synergy. The beginning was rough with JackeyLove coming back with a score of 0/22 in four games.
Since losing to Invictus Gaming though, they’ve been clean in their other three matches. Gao “Tian” Tian-Liang seems to be back from his years-long slump, JackeyLove shook off the dust as well, and Cheng “ZUIAN” Zi-Hao is promising. Mid and support are holding down the fort as well.
On the other side of the Rift, BLG has looked odd. Against Weibo Gaming, their win was anything but clean. The level they displayed was not that of a team that will win the split. That being said, this roster has a habit of adjusting to their opponent’s level.
The elephant in the room in this match-up lies in the top lane. Chen “Bin” Ze-Bin left First Stand as a strong contender for best top laner in the world and his Split 2 performance is just further solidifying his case. As a rookie, ZUIAN is about to face his greatest challenge yet.
Bin is the one outstanding reason this match should go BLG’s way. All of their players have incredible mechanics and they win their games that way, but top lane presents the starkest disparity.
