The second semifinals match of First Stand is a rematch of the LPL Split 1 finals, unexpectedly. This will be the third best-of-five between these two teams in the past month, and that makes the result easy to call. Bilibili Gaming will most likely take the First Stand semifinals against JD Gaming.
Betting tip: BLG won this match twice already. The respective forms of the two teams at First Stand indicate that the third encounter should go the same way.
My Bilibili Gaming vs JD Gaming pick: Over 3.5 maps at 1.54 odds at GG.BET.

Can JDG get their revenge against BLG at the First Stand semifinals? Image source: Bruno Alvares / Riot Games
In their first match in the LPL, the result seemed close despite BLG being the strong favorite. However, the scoreline of 3-2 hides the fact that BLG looked much more comfortable than JDG did.
These two teams demonstrated clear strengths and weaknesses and they stuck by them. BLG has the best laners in the LPL and backs them up with a jungler who navigates the early game better. However, their teamfighting leaves much to be desired and they regularly concede leads because of it.
JDG is mostly the opposite. The second seed’s laners should not be underestimated. Tsai “HongQ” Ming-Hong is the solokill leader of the LPL and Chen “GALA” Wei is a juggernaut as well. Against them are three of the best players in the world, though.
JD Gaming’s strength is their teamfighting, and they might be the best team in the world in that domain. On the other hand, the rest of their macro has caused them issues. JDG’s matches in the LPL often resulted in throwing leads back and forth for that reason.
The worrying part is that in their first series, BLG managed to fully neuter their playstyle. If there are no teamfights, JDG loses their one advantage – and they managed to make that happen.
Bilibili Gaming’s early game overpowers that of JDG, and they need to find ways to crawl back into the game afterwards. If BLG denies them that, there’s little hope for them. In fact, they won even more convincingly in their second series.
Lastly, BLG’s final advantage is in their champion pool. Should the match go to five maps, they have niche picks to break the draft that their opponent can assemble. Luo “ON” Wen-Jun has already pulled off the Anivia and Camille support, and doubtless he’s got more up his sleeve.

BLG has been convincing against both BNK FearX and G2 Esports. As for JDG, they’ve shown cracks against each of their opponents. There’s no reason to believe their third match against BLG will go better than the previous two.
