Anyone’s Legend sometimes looks like a top 4 team in the world. At other times, they can’t even qualify for internationals. AL isn’t inconsistent on a match-by-match basis, they instead have long periods of strength or weakness.
Split 1 ended on the latter, and Split 2 starts no differently. The team that took T1 to five games at Worlds 2025 stood no chance against Top Esports and JD Gaming. AL had some fight in them in one of the four games, but they also went 20k gold down in 29 minutes against JDG.
Anyone’s Legend is a team that excels at teamfighting and objective setup, though JDG is now ahead of them in the former. Now, they’re up against a BLG that might not give them a chance to show it.
Bilibili Gaming is notoriously weak when it comes to teamfights. However, they make up for it by having the best individual players in the region and terrifyingly strong lanes as a result. If they struggle to win fights, they can just get leads through better micro and avoid teamfighting altogether. Worse even, they’ve already beaten JDG four times in a row with that game plan.
The one silver lining for AL is that BLG has shown weakness in their recent matches, outside of the top lane that’s remained solid. Top Esports saw it too and found the opportunity to give them their first loss of the split. That being said, this is more likely a fluke than a real window for AL to exploit.
