Biggest news from Xbox Gamescom 2022 booth

Apart from Opening Night Live, the Xbox Gamescom booth was one of the more anticipated events at Gamescom 2022.

We already had quite a bit of news ahead of the showcase, so we knew which games to expect to see.

Xbox released a blog post talking about which games they’d show off during their booth.

Those who visited the booth in person were able to get their hands on some of the games from Xbox Game Studios and upcoming games from third-party developers.

During the stream, we got updates and news from Xbox exclusives like

• Age of Empires IV
• Microsoft Flight Simulator
• Sea of Thieves
• Grounded

The third-party games Xbox showed off on their console includes some of the most anticipated releases from Gamescom – specifically, Lies of P.

• Disney Dreamlight Valley
• Gunfire Reborn
• Inkulinati
• Last Case of Benedict Fox
• Lies of P
• Lightyear Frontier
• Planet of Lana
• You Suck at Parking

As far as Xbox exclusives go, most of the big news came for Flight Simulator, Sea of Thieves, and Age of Empires. Most of the interviews had more to do with existing Xbox games than new ones.

We also heard more from the developers of A Plague Tale: Requiem and Lies of P – two of the more exciting games to follow.
