With the mix of slick shooting, ability use, and strategy, top Rainbow Six Siege players elevate themselves not only through their slick playmaking, but through leadership and individual skill.

Selecting some of the best Rainbow Six: Siege players of all time isn’t easy, but we’ve attempted to do it. Here’s our picks for the GOAT of Siege.

Pengu

1. Pengu (Niclas Mouritzen)

If you ask longtime fans who the greatest Siege player of all time is, Pengu’s name almost always comes up first. The Danish superstar became a household name during his time with PENTA Sports and G2 Esports, where he set the gold standard for mechanical skill, game sense, and consistency.

Pengu was the kind of player who could do it all. Whether he was clutching a 1v3 or anchoring on defense, he made it look effortless. His ability to fill nearly any role and still outperform the best specialists made him a rare breed.

Under his leadership, G2 dominated Siege’s golden era, winning multiple Pro League titles and back-to-back Six Invitationals in 2018 and 2019. Even after retiring from competitive play, Pengu stayed close to the game through casting and analysis, remaining one of the most respected voices in the community.

Shaiiko

2. Shaiiko (Stéphane Lebleu)

While Pengu was calm and calculated, Shaiiko brought pure, explosive power. The French phenom is often considered the most mechanically gifted player in Rainbow Six Siege history. His aim and reflexes are on another level the kind that make opponents rethink their life choices after a gunfight.

Shaiiko’s story isn’t just about skill, though. After an early-career ban, he came back stronger with Team BDS, reinventing himself as a smarter, more disciplined player. He became the centerpiece of BDS’s success, and led the team through countless deep runs and proving that raw talent can be sharpened into mastery.

Fabian

3. Fabian (Fabian Hällsten)

Fabian isn’t the flashiest player in Siege, but he was often the smartest and most clutch. As the in-game leader for PENTA, and later G2, Fabian was the mind behind one of the most dominant teams in Siege history.

Fabian focused on structure, strategy, and execution. His calm leadership allowed his teammates to play at their best, guiding G2 to multiple Pro League championships and two straight Six Invitational titles. Since stepping away from competition, Fabian has continued to shape the game as a caster and coach, proving that his brain for Siege is just as sharp off the server as it was on it.

4. Canadian (Troy Jaroslawski)

Cadian, a North American legend, is known for his intensity, leadership, and drive to win. He wasn’t just a captain. He was a motivator who could rally his team through any challenge.

Canadian made history by winning the Six Invitational twice. First with Evil Geniuses in 2017, and again with Spacestation Gaming in 2020. His ability to adapt to different rosters and metas over the years showed not just talent, but resilience. He’s the kind of player who plays for the team, not the scoreboard, often sacrificing personal stats to make his teammates shine.

Goga

5. Goga (Daniel Mazorra Romero)

While Goga might not have made as many headlines as his teammates, his importance can’t be overstated. The Spanish support player was the steady hand behind PENTA and G2’s dominance, quietly doing the dirty work that allowed the stars to shine.

As one of the best hard-breach and support players ever, Goga’s discipline and composure under pressure were unmatched. He had an uncanny ability to stay cool in chaotic moments, always putting his team’s success first.

When clutch moments came, Goga was ready. His consistent, unselfish play proved that Siege isn’t just about flashy kills. It’s about being the best teammate you can be.
