These are the biggest and best League of Legends YouTubers around

League of legends slash image with multiple champions

League of Legends is the most popular MOBA in the world, and with so many YouTubers building their content around it, with those who bring something unique to the table manage to stand above their peers.

YouTube is easily the largest video-sharing platform on the internet, with countless potential content creators trying their hand at creating different types of content. Considering the large fanbase League of Legends has, it makes sense that multiple YouTubers have made the game their bread and butter. And some League of Legends YouTubers have made it big and form a sizable audience for themselves.

Who are the best LoL YouTubers?

Some of the best LoL YouTubers include Nectit, Vandril, and SkinSpotlights, though all three creators make vastly different types of content based on the game, and they’re far from the only popular YouTube personalities covering League of Legends.

The actual gameplay of League of Legends is understandably one of its strongest points, and many creators capitalize on that. However, that isn’t all there is to the MOBA created by Riot Games. From the in-game universe’s lore to the many in-game cosmetics that players can purchase, some YouTubers base their content on a variety of different aspects of League of Legends.

SkinSpotlights

While some assume that SkinSpotlights is a collective group of people, that isn’t the case. The channel is run by a single person, who has utilized his consistency and love for League of Legends to become the biggest authority on the game’s cosmetics.

From previews for skins that have yet to be released, to detailing unique recalls and attack animations, to spreading that influence to League of Legends: Wild Rift, SkinSpotlights is arguably the biggest creator who only focuses on League of Legends. It’s gotten to the point that many fans turn toward SkinSpotlights’ videos instead of Riot’s official channels because of how well these videos demonstrate new skins and the quick work done in concert with PBE releases.

Thebausffs

Thebausffs is a big reason for Sion becoming such a popular champion in the game. The YouTuber’s infamous “inting Sion” strategy, where he continuously dies and seemingly plays to lose before becoming an unstoppable win condition pushing lanes relentlessly, inspired legions of fans worldwide, even if most couldn’t pull it off nearly as well as him.

The creator continues to release consistent videos, and they comfortably hit the six-digit view mark just hours after their release. With a dedicated fanbase who share and spread his iconic lines and Sion plays, it’s no surprise that Thebausffs is one of the most relevant League of Legends YouTubers. And that popularity has only further grown with baus joining the competitive stream team Los Ratones.

Vandiril

Despite League of Legends having a dedicated team to ensure there are few bugs or glitches, some inevitably slip through the cracks. When this happens, fans know that Vandiril will likely already be making a video on it to share with his audience of over one million subscribers.

From entertaining exploit videos where the YouTuber showcases how players can get overpowered in mere minutes, to revealing game-breaking bugs that even developers at Riot aren’t aware of, Vandiril is easily the most reliable creator for those who want to stay in the know on the game’s technical side. When he isn’t calling out Riot for the many LoL glitches he finds, he’s recording champions accomplishing insane feats, like Skarner somehow gathering over 10,000 movement speed.

Necrit

While gameplay is important, many would argue that the League of Legends’ lore sets it apart from many other popular games online. From the hit show Arcane delving into the depths of Runeterra, to the many spin-off games and comics that give other champions and areas the spotlight, Necrit is a YouTuber who ensures fans are constantly informed about everything happening in the League of Legends universe.

When he isn’t making detailed explanation videos on the game’s lore, Necrit is making news content about what’s happening in and around LoL. This includes talking about controversies, giving predictions for what will happen in the game next, and calling out Riot for using AI.

Professor Akali

Professor Akali stands out thanks to his trademark challenge videos. From pitting one Shaco with infinite Jack In The Box charges against five players of Challenger rank, to giving a Yuumi player one million HP and asking them to take down five other champions without an anchor, this YouTuber has mastered the art of making odd and entertaining League of Legends challenge videos.

In addition to these challenge videos, Professor Akali is also fittingly an excellent Akali player. The YouTuber occasionally puts out tutorial videos that help others master the assassin. However, he has recently turned towards just uploading the long-form challenge videos that his followers love most, especially when he collaborates with other known League of Legends creators including Dantes and Pink Ward.

SkinSpotlights and Nightblue3 stand among the biggest League of Legends YouTubers, but the title of “most popular” can be defined in different ways.

Below is a list of some of the biggest League of Legends YouTube accounts:

  • SkinSpotlights
  • Professor Akali
  • Nightblue3
  • Thebausffs
  • Vandiril
  • Necrit
  • Thebausffs

Many in the League of Legends community argue over who exactly is the biggest League of Legends YouTuber. While SkinSpotlights is well-known in the community and has a high subscriber count, there are also creators like Nightblue3 and Thebausffs, who get a lot of views and are consistently popular on the video platform. These creators also stream on platforms like Twitch and tend to post their VODs and edited stream clips to YouTube, raising the argument that they’re streamers before YouTubers.
