BDS Agresivoo talks LEC debut, Korea, his personal goals & more

Team BDS have lost their opening match of the LEC 2022 Summer split. However, the team’s continuous desire for progress has been shown, as rookies keep on debuting for the organization.

The new roster features support Robert “Erdote” Nowak as well as Tobiasz “Agresivoo” Ciba, whose debut was long overdue in the LEC.

Hey Agresivoo, glad to finally have you on the LEC stage, which was long overdue! How are you feeling after your debut in the LEC?

Agresivoo

I am honestly very disappointed because we had a big advantage and it would have been nice if we could finish the game. Throws happen, especially if you are not at your best in the start of the season.

I think we just have to take it and maybe we will improve for the next matches.

Yohan Markov

Where do you think the problem occurred in that game?

Agresivoo

I feel like we couldn’t make progress. We were already ahead but our champions didn’t deal any damage to Nashor nor could we engage on them.

We had to wait for them to make mistakes or get to a position so they could go on us. Unfortunately, with other mistakes like getting caught, we couldn’t get into proper position during the game.

Overall, if we are very ahead and we are first on the objective, we would probably stomp the fight.

Yohan Markov

How was your experience playing against the best players in Korea? If I am not mistaken, this is your first bootcamp in a foreign region?

Agresivoo

Correct. I think I improved on the individual level like on landing phase and playing the fights better. When you play soloq there, they play very aggressively and fast. All of the team fights are played way better.

Overall, I really enjoyed Korea. I am not a big fan of soloq, but I enjoyed playing it there and it was fun for me.

I am a very vocal player in the game, so I can bring decision making and structure to the team. It is the main reason why I am here. ”.

As a new member of the LEC team, how is everything going there? I would imagine you had time to bond with your new teammates, especially after spending time in Korea.

Agresivoo

The mood in the team is really nice and everyone likes each other and for now the environment is great.

Also in Korea, we were scrimming with different combinations of our roster. We didn’t really scrim with this exact roster for most of the games, but I got to know them better.

Yohan Markov

In your opinion, what do you bring to the team that can be the difference maker?

Agresivoo

I am a very vocal player in the game, so I can bring decision making and structure to the team. It is the main reason why I am here.

Maybe it wasn’t shown in this game today but we still have time. This is my main goal, to make the team better at working together and to have better decision making in the game.

Team BDS’ goal is to make playoffs but what is your personal goal for the split?

Agresivoo

For me it would also be reaching playoffs in my first split. Also, there are not many contenders for the rookie of the split, so this would also be a nice award. We will see if I can make it.

Yohan Markov

People have been saying that the top lane level in the LEC has been low in recent years. What is your opinion on that?

Agresivoo

I think it’s very dependent on the players. A lot of players are only used to playing certain champions or a certain style. They are pretty good at it, but there are not many players that are insane at most of the things that a top laner should be at.

A lot of the top laners are very dangerous at certain things or champions but I haven’t played against all of them yet. I think other lanes are probably more stacked.

I am very used to playing on stage, with the crowds as well. In the LFL we had some LAN’s so I think this is something that can bring peak performance from me.

Agresivoo

Yohan Markov

Who would you say you are most excited to face from the top laners in the LEC?

Agresivoo

I am really excited to play against all of them on stage. Everyone is talking about the top three laners right now: BrokenBlade, Alphari and Odoamne.

I would like to check if I could be on the level to match them or maybe beat them. Also, I would like to play versus my former team Misfits.

Irrelevant is on the list as well.

Yohan Markov

What about the crowd, does it affect you and how are you feeling?

Agresivoo

I am very used to playing on stage, with the crowds as well. In the LFL we had some LAN’s so I think this is something that can bring peak performance from me.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t today. I think I didn’t play insane but with the crowd, if I can still enjoy the stage, it would be very promising for me and I am really excited to play the next matches on stage.

Yohan Markov

No stage nerves at all, right?

Agresivoo

Nope..
