With the Major cut-off right around the corner, the VRS grind continues for tier-one fringe teams and some of the best CS2 teams alike, this time at BC Game Masters Championship Season 1.
The $50,000 LAN could be a make-or-break event for teams hoping to attend IEM Cologne this year. Every match and every VRS point matters at this point in the calendar, even for the CS2 betting favorites G2.
Here’s our BC Game Masters Championship betting preview.

It’s no surprise that the CS2 odds are favoring G2 to go all the way at BC Game Masters Championship Season 1. They are by far the best in the field, but there are reasons to doubt the big dogs.
After all, G2 is coming into this event with a refreshed roster, after their recent player swap with Liquid. It’s not a given that Guy “NertZ” Iluz fits into the team right off the jump, but they should still have what it takes to overpower the competition.
Other teams worth keeping a closer eye on are Passion UA and BIG. Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold, one of the best CS2 players in 2025, could be the difference maker for Passion UA at this event.
As for BIG, they are quietly building up their VRS tally through the tier two grind. They are only one spot away from a Major invite at the time of ranking. A good result at this event could seal the deal for the infamous German organization.
