So what are the numbers looking like for Team Vitality, and is there any value to be found elsewhere? And is Vitality really that likely to win? Here’s everything there is to know about the BLAST Austin Major and the favorites to win the tournament.
32 teams are set to compete at the BLAST Austin Major
The exact odds vary between different betting sites, but each one maintains this general ordering and tiering when it comes to how likely teams are to win the BLAST Austin Major. Team Vitality is held far above the other teams while Team Falcons, Team Spirit, and MOUZ are on the next tier down.
Past that are a handful of teams that have been competitive at big tournaments throughout the year; NaVi, The MongolZ, Aurora Gaming, FaZe Clan, and Team Liquid. FaZe Clan, G2 Esports, and Team Liquid have made roster changes whose impacts aren’t fully known yet.
Past those nine teams, things immediately go into flyer pick territory. While squads like Virtus.pro, Heroic, and 3DMAX have shown some hints of greatness during the year, they’re effectively being given no chance of victory.
Competitors ranked below BetBoom Team have wildly different odds on some sites, as far as 2,501. Not all sites are lumping together teams like Wildcard, Legacy, and Lynn Vision Gaming in terms of their exact odds, but all of them are effectively being given no chance of winning the tournament.

Team Vitality is the favorite to win the BLAST Austin Major, and it should be. The organization’s 2025 roster has been dominant at a level akin to 2021 NaVi and 2018 Astralis, but it needs to win the BLAST Austin Major to really cement itself on that level.
All signs point to Vitality doing just that, though. Dating back to IEM Katowice 2025, the team is on a 30-match winning streak that has seen it win six championships in LAN tournaments. Along the way, it has lost just 13 maps in total. While some cracks were seemingly showing in IEM Dallas 2025, the team closed out the tournament with a convincing 3-0 win over MOUZ.
Because of that sustained success, betting sites don’t have much of a choice but to crown Team Vitality as an almost prohibitive favorite to win the BLAST Austin Major.
MOUZ, Team Falcons, The MongolZ, and FaZe Clan all have a reasonable chance of being able to beat Vitality in the BLAST Austin Major, even if they won’t be favorites to win.
Throughout Vitality’s winning streak, the only teams to really challenge Vitality have been MOUZ, Falcons, and The MongolZ. MOUZ and Team Falcons both pushed Vitality to 3-2 finishes in tournament finals. Meanwhile, The MongolZ is the only other team to take two map wins over Vitality.
FaZe Clan is something of an X factor in this tournament. Though the team had an awkward debut where it washed out of the IEM Dallas group stage, there were hints of the team being legitimate. That was despite the team going without a bootcamp and playing with a substitute. A FaZe Clan that integrates Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyljev into its roster, plays at full strength, and gets some good practice in could make some serious noise.
All this said, Team Vitality is the big favorite to win the BLAST Austin Major. The team has done nothing but win matches for four months, so it’s hard to pick them to lose.
