In a statement issued on Sep. 22, Astralis have announced that they will not renew the contract of Carl Felix “MagiFelix” Boström for the 2022 season.

The player joined Astralis during the 2021 Spring split, as a replacement to the veteran Erlend “nukeduck” Våtevik Holm, who had to take a break from competitive play due to personal reasons.
MagiFelix played a total of 29 games for Astralis, including 12 wins and 17 losses. He played a pivotal role in the team, that was one game away from making the LEC 2021 Summer Split playoffs.
The solo queue prodigy will enter free agency, in a search for his next team to compete professionally in 2022.
