Astralis acquire Danish production company PIXEL.TV

Astralis has acquired PIXEL.TV, a Danish production company and broadcaster. The move sees Astralis expand their non-esports-related activities, as the company already owned the Astralis Nexus, a gaming bar in Copenhagen.

PIXEL.TV is an esports and gaming channel in Denmark and the first internet-based channel in the country.

With the acquisition, Astralis want to solidify their position as a Danish market leader in the esports field.

“The acquisition is a strategic move that will support the Astralis brand and activities, significantly strengthening our digital production, presence, and reach, to further engage a fast-growing audience.”

Current PIXEL.TV owner, Thomas Bense, will remain the company’s CEO.
