Brazilian coach and caster Filipe “Astini” Ribeiro has departed PARIVISION as per an announcement made by the organization and Ribeiro on Dec. 3.
The coach had been a part of the organization since October 2024, leading the team to numerous highlights before the surprising announcement today.
Astini joined PARIVISION in Oct. 22, 2024, and immediately made an impact with the organization quickly earning a fourth place at DreamLeague Season 24, a 3rd-4th place at BLAST Slam’s inaugural event, and, notably, first place at ESL One Bangkok 2024.
Since then the Brazilian coach had helped the team to multiple successes, including their victories at ESL One Raleigh and DreamLeague Season 26, and a third-place finish at the Esports World Cup 2025 and The International 2025 (TI14).
However, post TI, the organization’s results had slipped, but only for around two months. Today’s announcement still comes as a surprise to many.
PARIVISION commented on the departure in their announcement:
“Your vision of the game helped us to win tournaments and take third places at EWC and TI 2025.
You will forever be part of our team’s history. Your every VAMOS and BORA CARALHO resonated in our hearts!”
Astini added a comment on his own announcement post:
“I am parting ways with Pari. I want to thank the organization and players for the time we had together.
Looking for a team as Head Coach for 2026, any region.
Given the proximity of events, I am also open to remotely standing in as a second coach/analyst for the upcoming DreamLeague.”
In an accompanying post in Portuguese, Astini stated he would be releasing an explanation video on instagram explaining the reasons for his departure, as well as live streaming analysis of upcoming tournaments.
Many players and community members were surprised to hear the announcement, with some, including fellow coaches Leon “Arthur” Lee and William “Blitz” Lee reacting with shock.
PARIVISION is set to compete at DreamLeague Season 27 from Dec. 10. Stick with Jaxon.gg for more Dota 2 news and info.
