Nijisanji is still receiving backlash from fans for its handling of Aster Arcadia, and there is now already speculation that the controversial vtuber may be making a quick return to streaming.
Drama in the vtuber world is common, with vtubers and agencies alike frequently going viral for varying reasons. Nijisanji and vtuber Aster Arcadia came into the limelight after harassment allegations were made against the content creator, and the agency was accused of ignoring the misconduct. The apparent victim, Twisty Amanozako, was terminated from Nijisanji, which made things even worse for many concerned fans.
Those fans also wanted Nijisanji to reveal the findings of its investigation into the matter and to take action against Aster. In July, Nijisanji announced Aster Arcadia’s graduation from the agency. Fans expressed their unhappiness, with some fans wanting punitive action taken against Aster Arcadia while others at least wanted stronger wording in Nijisanji’s statement. Now, mere weeks after Aster Arcadia “separated” from Nijisanji, fans have found evidence of the creator’s return as an independent vtuber.
Fans have noticed that Aster Arcadia’s past persona, Xigneon, is following an upcoming vtuber, Aeytha, and it now seems confirmed that the vtuber is returning with the new identity.
An X user posted a screenshot of Aeytha’s mutual followers, and the new vtuber is being followed by Xigneon. This has kicked off speculation that Aster Arcadia is reinventing himself and returning under a new name. Aeytha is also reportedly only following one X user, Aster Arcadia, which has further fueled the speculations.

Viewers have already started to speculate how Aster will discuss his graduation from Nijisanji. Many are claiming he’ll likely throw the agency under the bus because of how Nijisanji worded its statement. Others believe the vtuber will deny the allegations against him given that Nijisanji didn’t share any conclusive findings from its investigation. Some are questioning whether he’ll continue with his alleged harassment even with without an agency backing him this time.
Ayetha has tweeted that he will be debuting on August 2 and also shared the links for his Twitch and YouTube channels on his X account. This could mean that the vtuber will multistream his content, or he may just use the channels for separate types of content. Fans are divided on the vtuber’s return, but many are already calling for a mass report of Aeytha. Some have asked fans to wait for Aeytha’s debut to be confirmed taking action, and even then, first seeing what he has to say for himself in his new form.
