Content creator and regular conductor of banger interviews Ashley Kang will be live on broadcast on Week 5. Yes, you read this correctly: not on Korizon Esports, but live from the LEC studios.
The LEC announced on Feb. 10 that she will interview players live as a guest broadcast member, and that commentator of LJL unofficial and NLC fame Alex “Nymaera” Hapgood will be part of the festivities.
Welcome @AshleyKang and hello again @Nymaera!
This week Ashley interviews our pros and Nymaera makes his casting debut in the #LEC! pic.twitter.com/2kxiP9QuWw

The event is a first for Kang: although she is an experienced interviewer and content creator, an award-winning one at that, she has yet to interact with a broadcast and production crew in a live studio. She previously made many appearances on broadcast online as a guest interviewer, but the environment is different this time around.
I will be appearing on the #LEC broadcast today. It will be my first time in my career appearing on a live broadcast in person
I am scared
Wish me luck

Ashley Kang is not the first individual from Oceania to feature in the LEC or European League of Legends competitive circuit in any capacity: SK head coach Swiffer, Berlin International Gaming (ERL) jungler Pabu22, and many others have planted roots or have featured in the past—including support Mitchell “Destiny” Shaw in 2020.
Should we worry about an Oceanic invasion of the European circuit? No, here’s better question is: why is that a bad thing anyway?
Besides, the possibility of having an Ashley Kang – Jankos interview on air is priceless.
