The ARC Raiders release date is set on October 30, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

As per listings on the PlayStation Store and Embark Studios, the international release starts at 3 AM PDT / 6 AM EDT / 10 AM GMT, with everyone getting access simultaneously, no premium head starts or early access. The latest Server Slam was the last public gaming test, allowing thousands of players to stress-test servers and give feedback before launch.

• The Standard Edition of ARC Raiders is priced at US $39.99 (roughly £31 / €40) globally. Additionally, the developer announced adjusted pre-order pricing for several regions (e.g., Brazil, India, Philippines, etc.) to ensure fairer regional pricing.
• A Deluxe Edition is also available at US $59.99 (around £50 / €60) which includes the base game plus extra cosmetic items and Raider Tokens: for example, the “Wanderer Set” (Valente outfit, Pathfinder backpack, Blanket Roll attachment), a Finger Gun Rapid Fire emote, Cow­boy Scrappy body type & skin, and 2,400 Raider Tokens.

ARC Raiders drops players on a war-torn future Earth, years after humans were driven underground by an alienation of self-replicating machines that simply go by the name ARC. Out of the underground sanctuary named Speranza, players go topside to forage for materials, make equipment, and battle mechanical and human foes.

The surface world is a brutal sandbox; dynamic, unpredictable, and filled with tension. Every raid offers the chance for rich loot and deadly encounters, but one mistake can mean losing everything you’ve collected. The premise blends sci-fi storytelling with the nerve-wracking thrill of survival shooters like Escape from Tarkov and The Cycle: Frontier, but with Embark’s signature cinematic flair.

Gameplay & features

Embark Studios describes ARC Raiders as a PvPvE extraction shooter, meaning players face off not only against each other but also against the environment and AI-controlled ARC enemies.

In a recent interview, the developers said their goal was to create “a living ecosystem” where player actions affect the world around them, weather shifts, enemy patrols change routes, and AI factions react dynamically to noise and movement. This level of unpredictability ensures that no two raids feel the same.

Each trip to the surface starts in the safety of Speranza, where Raiders can craft gear, trade with NPCs, and plan loadouts before launching their next run. Once deployed, teams (or solo players) explore vast open zones, scavenging valuable scrap and supplies. Extracting safely is the ultimate goal, but greed can be dangerous as the longer you stay topside, the more threats you’ll face.

Embark promises deep progression systems, handcrafted weapons, and physics-driven combat. Gunfights look and feel heavy, bolstered by the same engine that powers The Finals. Explosions, debris, and the environment itself play major roles in the chaos.
