Apex Legends Gaiden Event is embracing anime

Prepare your wallets folks; Apex is going anime. The newest Apex Legends Gaiden Event is set to launch a huge anime crossover.

40 new cosmetics will enter the loot pool with some Legends boasting anime-inspired skins.

The skins come from popular anime such as My Hero Academia, One Piece, Naruto, and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

It’s so cool it makes you forget that these skins will cost you a small fortune. Not going to lie – the trailer is really well done!

Per the norm for collection events, collecting/buying all of the cosmetics will net you a reward. This time around it’s a Prestige Skin for Bangalore too much dismay of fans.

The Gaiden Event is live in Apex Legends and will run until August 2. Fear not, when the event is over, you’ll be able to use crafting materials to craft cosmetics you missed.
