AL is a monster in the LPL. This is the team that excels at team fighting and objective setup. Anyone’s Legend thrives when there’s constant fighting, and this is what every LPL team offers.
During the regular season, they went 7-0 after starting with two losses. Afterwards, they kicked off the playoffs with one of the most brutal stomps in the league’s history. In their last series, JD Gaming was surprisingly able to get the better of them in a 5-game series, but that match was a few Game 2 missteps away from another 3-0 for AL.
Meanwhile, Invictus Gaming still struggles to find itself since losing its most iconic player in TheShy. Soboro was very promising in the Demacia Cup, and IG looked like they could go far. Those results didn’t last, however, and IG finished last in Split 1’s Group Ascend.
The one thing that Invictus Gaming still has going for them is Rookie’s form. Rookie was and remains one of the best mid laners in the world. While his performances may vary from one game to the next, he has been looking great and will be IG’s main weapon against AL. One player alone won’t be enough to tip the scales, though.
