Counter-Strike 2’s skins and stickers let people personalize their look, and as this list shows, CS2 players have plenty of opportunities to flaunt their status as an amine fan with a sticker or skin in-game.
While they’re not necessarily common, there are more than a few different cosmetic items inspired by anime and more broadly by Japanese culture. Some of these are a bit subtle, while others pop out from across the map with their kawaii designs. Players can’t yet get a fully anime-inspired loadout, but there are several good options available for fans.
There are a number of different skins that are anime-themed or otherwise draw upon culture and imagery inspired by Japan and its history. Though they are somewhat limited in number, players can pick up several. Just note that some have a price tag that is downright absurd.

The original and most distinctly anime-inspired skin in Counter-Strike is the Akihabara Accept. This AUG was the centerpiece of the aptly named Rising Sun Collection, which featured a number of Japan-themed skins.
The Akihabara Accept remains highly sought-after and has a price tag that reflects this. Battle-Scarred versions of the skin cost hundreds of dollar and there’s a sharp increase with each stage of quality. Minimal wear and factory new Akihabara Accept skins can run well into the $2,000 range. That makes this skin a particularly great flex for big spenders.

The AUG wasn’t the only rifle to get a pricy skin in the Rising Sun Collection. In fact, the Akihabara Accept isn’t even the most expensive skin in that set. That honor goes to the Hydroponic AK-47.
The rifle stands out from the standard AK thanks to its distinctive green receiver. The rifle is relatively nondescript relative to more recent AK-47 skins, but it fits the Japanese theme of the set with a bamboo leaf pattern.

Like the Hydroponic AK-47, the Sunset Storm Desert Eagle is more common than the Akihabara Accept, but commands a much bigger price tag. The gun is actually more ostentatious than the Hydroponic, despite being of a lesser rarity.
The Sunset Storm skin pops even by today’s CS2 skin standards with its red and gold design. While some of the skins from the Rising Sun Collection don’t really scream “Japan,” the design on the grip helps this one make the cut.

The M4A4 Daybreak is a striking rifle thanks to its silver and gold color scheme. While it’s not as flashy as some of the other guns, the cloud patterns on the receiver will catch the eyes of anime fans. Despite the different colors, the design conjures up images of the Akatsuki from Naruto.

The Midnight Storm isn’t colorful like most of the guns on the list so far, but its shimmering design and dark teal palette stand out. What makes this more Japanese than most of the other low-rarity skins in the Rising Sun Collection is its pattern. The color scheme and design give it a unique “Starry Night” meets “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” feel.

There are three different consumer grade skins with bamboo patterns in the Rising Sun collection. The priciest among them is the Tec-9 Bamboo Forest.
Counter-Strike 2 skins have become flashier over time, but the Bamboo Forest was ahead of its time. Its white and green look are distinctive, but unfortunately that distinctiveness comes with a price. At higher qualities, the pistol boasts a surprisingly high price tag.

The Bamboo Print PP-Bizon is one of the most affordable skins in the Rising Sun Collection, and that’s for good reason. It has a low-key intricate design, but as the skin’s quality goes down, it becomes almost unrecognizable. Anyone looking to get this gun would be best served looking at factory new qualities.

The Bamboo Shadow Sawed-Off has a similar look to the Bamboo Forest and Bamboo Print skins, but its black and gray look that runs from the receiver down the barrel. It’s not much of a flex skin though, as the skin only stands out to the person holding it. It’s also similar to the Bamboo Print in that it’s only worth getting at minimal wear or factory new quality.

There’s no shortage of great-looking Desert Eagle skins, and the Midnight Storm isn’t the only attractive Japan-inspired option for the pricy pistol. The Kumicho Dragon is has shimmering finish that’s backed by a dragon pattern along the top. What makes this aesthetically fit its high rarity is the shimmering magenta grip that adds a distinct splash of color on what would otherwise be a lowkey pistol.

While many of the CS2 skins and stickers players can find are more Japan-themed than they are inspired directly by anime, but the Temukau for the M4A4 fixes that. The skin is essentially the M4A4’s answer to the Akibahabara Accept, with a similar color scheme and a large character that takes up much of the real estate. While the M4A4 is the go-to CT rifle for a large number of players, this carries a much lower price tag than the Akihabara Accept.

Outside the Rising Sun Collection, the Oni Taiji AWP is the most expensive and most distinctive Japan-inspired cosmetic item in Counter-Strike. Rare AWP skins always command a big and this one is no exception, with a starting price of around $500 for a battle-scarred version of the skin. Still, the samurai on the receiver and oni on the stock make this a skin that stands out in a big way.

The Kami skin for the Five-Seven is distinctly manga-inspired, the print-based cousin of anime. The pistol’s slide has a matte finish that makes it look like a page was pulled out of a newspaper and pasted directly on the gun. As with some of the other low-price skins on this list, this one doesn’t handle high floats well. That makes it so the factory new version is comfortably the best, while anything past minimal wear may as well be a default skin.

The Five-Seven isn’t the only gun that has a Kami skin. The Galil has much surface area to work with, which makes it so fans can actually see full panels across the gun. This gun’s lower qualities float much more nicely than the Five-Seven Kami, but the amount of detail on this skin makes it one that’s much more attractive when it’s factory new. Thankfully, even at low floats, this is one of the most affordable manga and anime-inspired skins in CS2.

While the CT side gets most of the fun when it comes to flashy anime skins in CS2, the T side does have a few great options. While the Kami Galil is a good one, the Sakkaku is both more affordable and much more distinctive. It also serves as the canvas for many striking, and hilarious, sticker crafts.

The Dragon King is technically both Chinese and Japanese-inspired, with the characters translating in both traditional Chinese and Japanese kanji. Regardless, it stands as one of the most recognizable and overall best M4A4 skins. It’s also a considerably more affordable alternative to the Temukau, even though it’s still no budget skin.

The Mount Fuji MP9 is one of the most striking skins in CS2, despite being of only a middling rarity. The SMG from the Operation Riptide Case stands out for both the holder and everyone around them with its pastel color scheme and minimalist imagery.

The Allure MAC-10 actually stands as one of Jaxon’s picks for best budget CS2 skins, which is shocking considering how it lives up to its namesake. The SMG has a darker look, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not colorful. The woman, koi, and waves make for an alluring combination that, frankly, should command a much higher price tag than what it goes for.
There are a number of CS2 stickers that are either directly inspired by anime or have an aesthetic that would fit well for anyone looking to effectively make their own skins. These stickers have trickled in throughout Counter-Strike’s history, though there isn’t any one singular “anime” sticker set that contains them all. These are some of the best options available for CS2 players looking for anime stickers.

The first Perfect World Sticker Capsule in CSGO boasted a number of solid stickers with cutesy characters. Officially, all the stickers from Perfect World are Chinese, but these featured characters would still fit in right alongside any Temukau or Akihabara Accept skins. The Cheongsam sticker is a good centerpiece for sticker crafts or any plain rifle that could use a bit of personality.
The Water Gun is another sticker from the Perfect World Sticker Capsule that features a cute character. Similar to the Cheongsam sticker, it can add a splash of color to lowkey skins or be the base for some elaborate sticker designs. The Perfect World Sticker Capsule also includes the Guardian Dragon, Fancy Koi, Noodles, and Rice Bomb stickers. Each of these stickers fits in perfectly for someone that wants to complement the anime look of their CS2 skins.

The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’s 10-Year Birthday Sticker Capsule contains a trio of anime-inspired stickers that look great on a variety of skins. Two of them are “Kawaii” stickers that contain anime characters stylized to resemble the CT and T sides.

Perhaps the most “anime” sticker or skin available in CS2 right now is the Approaching Site sticker from the 10-Year Birthday Sticker Capsule. The sticker reimagines the heavily memed fight between Jotaro and Dio in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure.

Before there were simply “Kawaii” stickers, there were the Kawaii Killers. These stickers have chibi-style characters that are essentially just palette swaps, but they’re also key pickups for anyone looking for an anime-inspired loadout. These stickers actually arrived in different capsules, with the terrorist arriving in Community Stickers Series 5 while the counter-terrorist arrived earlier in Community Stickers Series 2.

Anime fans who want to celebrate their wins in CS2 can look for the V for Victory sticker. Compared with the Kawaii Killer stickers, this is a latecomer, arriving in 2022’s The Boardroom Sticker Capsule. Though it’s not quite as kawaii as its competition, this holo sticker is still plenty cute.
