Ambessa is the newest League of Legends hero, and her in-game appearance has already leaked for Wild Rift.
Ambessa Medarda has been teased as a future champion in LoL Wild Rift by Riot for quite some time. First featured in the Arcane animated series, Mel Medarda’s estranged mother is known for her toughness, melee combat skills, and focus on the war between Piltover and Zaun in the first season. Fans have been curious how she will appear in the mobile MOBA, and we now have a sneak peek.
Here is what we know about Ambessa Medarda in Wild Rift.
A leaker on X going by WRUzbeks recently shared a leaked blurry image of Ambessa Medarda as she will appear as a champion in the mobile game. Her in-game model shows Ambessa in a mask and sporting her usual red and green attire. She also holds violent-looking melee weapons, showing that she will most likely be an up-close-and-personal champion.
Since WRUzbeks noted that the image is for Wild Rift, some players are assuming she will arrive for the mobile game ahead of League of Legends itself. While this sounds a bit off, it should be noted that Seraphine was also launched for the mobile game before PC. She came to League of Legends a few weeks later.
League of Legends fans noticed that Ambessa Medarda’s Wild Rift design leak is a bit different from how she appears in Season 1. This means that fans may see her with this more intense outfit, featuring green shoulder guards, in Season 2. This would make sense since she is wearing the same gold helmet she sports in Season 2. The weapons in her hand appear very similar to the ones she wields in Season 2, a pair of blades with deadly chains.
The same leaker who revealed Ambessa Medarda also had a leaked screenshot of another Wild Rift character in Heimerdinger. The Arcane star is in League of Legends, but he is not yet part of the mobile game’s roster. Both characters featured heavily in Arcane Season 2 will be added to Wild Rift, with Ambessa likely arriving to League of Legends later this year when the second season starts streaming in November. The exact date that Ambessa Medarda and Heimerdinger arrive is still not confirmed.
