Alliance and Talon Esports bite the dust at ESL One Malaysia 2022 by bottoming out of Group A in the last Dota 2 LAN event.
Alliance’s woes continue as they keep on delivering abysmal performances, as has been the norm during the past year.
From being a behemoth at online regional leagues and placing consistently in the top three during DPC WEU 2020/21, to bombing out equally hard at LANs, and relegating to Division II in the current season, Alliance has been a disappointment.
Alliance ended their ESL One Malaysia 2022 journey by finishing last in Group A with 0 wins, 2 draws, and 3 losses.
On the other hand, Talon Esports has been struggling on the international stage. They fought their way from DPC SEA Division II to qualify for Division I.
They did surprisingly well in DPC SEA 2021/22 Division Tour 3 and qualified for the PGL Arlington Major 2022.
However, their inexperience on LANs caused them to bomb out early from the Major, and the same case applies to ESL One Malaysia 2022.
Regardless, both Alliance and Talon Esports will have to go through the grueling TI11 qualifiers in their respective regions.
