League of Legends players can show off their expertise through Victorious skins representing a future where champions have reached their peak.
Riot first introduced Victorious skins in 2011 as a reward for anyone who reached Gold or above in ranked. These special rewards never went in the store, so Victorious skins are only available to those who earn enough points in the season. This means that players have yet another chance to be triumphant this year and unlock Victorious Sona. Traditionally, LoL players had to reach Gold or higher. But Riot made changes in 2023 that will make it a lot easier to earn the newest skin.
From past to present, here are all the Victorious skins available in League of Legends.
The original victor, Riot made Victorious Jarven IV available for any player who earned over 1,600 points in the inaugural League season. His royalty is only made more apparent through his silver and gold armor.
The elemental wind spirit Janna at her peak actually is the eye of the storm rather than just having it as an ability. Her Demacian armor lends her a little more strength than some of her other skins. Additionally, Janna was one of the original 40 League champions
Of course Elise’s god-like spider powers would help her reach her pinnacle. Her cocoon can trap any who dared challenge her authority.
Another original champion, Morgana’s Victorious skin shows off her wings no longer bound. Perhaps her humanity was holding her back after all.
Looking almost like League’s version of Wonder Woman, Sivir has a claim as an original champion that clearly shows through. Her jeweled crossblade gleams even more with a golden finish.
The Victorious Maokai skin has found a way to make even trees look like royalty. Has he finally gotten revenge against the mages who destroyed his home? Maokai definitely seems to be more at peace.
Graves has accumulated quite a collection of wearable wealth over his years plundering Bilgewater. Though he may use End of the Line, clearly he hasn’t reached his own end yet.
With Victorious Graves also comes the addition of skin chromas. The more points above Gold a player earned during the season, the more chromas they can unlock.
The technical marvel of a girl herself has gotten an upgrade. Orianna’s Victorious skin has been designed by Piltover artificers and enhanced with hextech.
Aatrox has long been a danger to Runeterra, but what does his victory look like? The end of the world? Hell raining on the planet? Apparently just a cool crystal arm and a fancy weapon.
Righteous or vengeful to a tee, Lucian’s Victorious skin comes at the end of his relentless pursuit. A Sentinel of Light must pursue undying spirits, and there has never been a better one than Lucian.
What could be better than one of the first League of Legends robots? One of the first League of Legends robots who can use his rocket grab to help return toys to their proper owners. A fitting pinnacle for a kindly automaton.
Victorious Sejuani has conquered all of Freljord in the name of the Winter’s Claw. Perhaps any enemies are sitting in a glacial prison until they change their tune.
Anivia marks a turning point in how League of Legends distributes Victorious skins. Rather than having one skin annually, players can now earn points during different splits and only have to reach 1,000 points in ranked. If they don’t have Anivia to put the skin on, the champion will be added to their inventory. Anyone already at Gold only needed to accumulate 80 split points.
Victorious Anivia, with her gorgeous crystalline wings and original champion status, is a more likely sight in game then than any previous skins in the line.
Tryndamere’s Victorious form plays off his original 2009 style with cool armor that lacks the warmth one would think necessary for the frozen Freljord. Maybe his fiery wrath negates the negative temperatures.
The latest release in the LoL Victorious skin line, Kog’Maw’s shimmering ooze is an upgrade. However, it’s probably still incredibly caustic spittle. The armor might make it a little harder to pet.
In League’s Split 2, having begun on May 15, players can get a new version of Sona. While the official art hasn’t been released yet, fans have a lot to look forward to. Interested players just have to rack up a thousand points by mid-September to qualify for Sona’s Victorious skin.
