With the RMR events finishing, we now know the teams and players qualified for the upcoming IEM Rio CSGO Major. The event, which will be the first CSGO Major in Brazil and only the third outside of Europe, start October 31st.

Two weeks later, on Sunday, November 13th, we will find out which team will win IEM Rio and which players will be able to call themselves Major Champions.

Some interesting facts

Despite the Astralis failing to make it to the Major, Denmark remains on top in Rio. The country has three fewer representatives than it had at PGL Antwerp, but the Scandinavian country remains at the top of the ranking with 17 players.

They’re shortly followed by Russia and host nation Brazil (15).

IEM Rio will be a historic low for French players, teams, and fans. The country will only have two representatives at the CSGO Major, with Belgian Gamerlegion player Nicolas “Keoz” Dgus being an honorary third.
