Following Disney’s D23 livestream, Fortnite players already know all the skins coming in the Chapter 5 Season 4 Fortnite Marvel battle pass.
The new Fortnite season is officially nicknamed Absolute Doom and confirms that Doctor Doom will be the main antagonist. Some featured skins will be familiar and others will be obscure, which, according to president of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige, is the point. Fans who play in the new Fortnite Marvel season will have to keep their eyes peeled for characters who are being lined up as part of the next phase of the MCU. Furthermore, those very characters might have unlockable outfits through the battle pass.
Here are all of the upcoming skins in the Fortnite Marvel battle pass.
Fortnite is filling up the fourth and likely final season in Chapter 5 with Disney IP content featuring a ton of skins in a Marvel-themed battle pass.
Players can unlock battle pass rewards throughout the season by leveling up. While the pass itself costs 950 Vbucks, rewards also include up to 1350 Vbucks. Skins contained in the Fortnite Marvel battle pass are as follows.
Other, non-battle pass skins revealed at D23 include members of the Incredibles and classic villains like Maleficent. Despite the clear Marvel theme of the season, it seems like all kinds of Disney IPs are entering the fray.
Despite the name being reminiscent of Spider-Gwen and Deadpool, Fortnite’s Gwenpool is just a comic fan who was transported to the Marvel universe.
Gwenpool is a rather meta character. She knows about the comic universe and is thus able to manipulate the panels themselves, even hopping between pages. Eventually, her powers develop to the point where she can actually rewrite some of the story. How will these powers play out, if at all, in the new Fortnite season? While it’s currently unknown, Gwenpool always knows how to make something interesting happen.
Any fans who miss out on getting the Gwenpool outfit or other skins in the Marvel battle pass shouldn’t worry too much. Unlike previous passes, all rewards are eventually eligible to enter the Fortnite shop.
