CS2 skins can get crazy expensive, and players who just picked up something flashy often want to immediately see their new rare inspects.
Counter-Strike 2 skins don’t contribute to gameplay, but they are highly valuable items that often increase in worth. Besides monetary gain, players can enjoy visually striking animations that add a pinch of spice to reels and highlights. Of course, it’s a big flex when players with expensive skins find themselves in a clutch situation, with four other players watching their every move. Some weapon skins even have hidden Easter eggs that make them really special.
When inspected closely, these skins might surprise with a rare animation that only happens every now and then.
In CS2, many gun and knife skins boast rare inspects, but these top five are the most coveted among players. Landing one of these after a clutch play is the ultimate sign of good luck.
The CZ75 Auto is an alternative option for the Five-SeveN for CTs and Tec-9 for Ts. Still, it’s not a weapon that one would see in many games, which makes this animation even more rare. But that’s not the only reason it’s the first on the list.
The CZ75 Auto’s rare inspect rotates the wrist a full 360, which may seem a bit unnatural. Since it’s tough to replicate, players believe it’s more of a bug than an inspect element. But enough players have executed it in-game to establish that it’s indeed a CS2 inspection, just incredibly rare.
This distinct inspect features the player model grasping the knife vertically, with the blade’s tip resting gently in the palm of the hand. This is a fairly easy animation to replicate and can even be done multiple times in a single round.
In 2018, Valve upgraded the Deagle by adding a new, rare inspect animation. Initially, it was as rare as finding a four-leaf clover while being struck by lightning, but most players should be able to get it upon a few tries.
The rare animation features the Deagle rotating around the player’s finger, nestled within the trigger guard. This unique animation lasts for a few seconds, so it’s best to avoid triggering it mid-round if you want to thoroughly appreciate the details.
Paracord also comes with one of the rarest inspect elements in CS2. Once triggered, the player model will flip the knife in the palm three times, playing a subtle ticking sound. It’s a simple and understated animation, but it’s extremely rare.
Enhance your CS2 experience further by learning how to remove and reuse charms to customize your rare weapon inspects with a fresh look.
The Nomad knife’s rare inspect is brief. but undoubtedly the most creative. During the animation, the player model swiftly pulls out the knife and accidentally grazes their left hand. A short animation of the player model shaking out the sting follows, completing the inventive inspect element.
Purchasing a skin in CS2 can be costly and impractical for many players given their high prices, so learning to inspect any gun before buying it is a crucial skill. For those who have saved up the money and wish to invest in a skin, it’s important to make an informed decision.
To help with this, watching shortlisted skins in action can be beneficial. Fortunately, players don’t need to rely on borrowing a skin from a friend or settling for pre-recorded YouTube videos. Instead, they can try out the skin themselves by following these steps.
First, find the Steam account of a skin owner with a public inventory. This can be done by simply typing the skin name into the Google search bar and going to public skin listings on Steam.
A new window showcasing the skin would appear with options to change the background, player model, map, and more. Use the mouse cursor to change positions and view the skin from all angles. This method works for all CS2 skins, whether the player owns them or not.
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to perform rare inspections on this window. Those looking to try out rare inspect elements without purchasing the skin should follow the next method.
The Aimbotz (Aim Training) map is a classic location to practice with any and all weapons. However, in CSGO, the map didn’t showcase all knife models. It was limited to guns. That changes in CS2, as Aimbotz now offers knives as well. However, these are all default skins unless players have equipped fancy skins they already own in CS2.
Lucky players who are able to get the rarest inspect elements may use the Steam recording feature to share the clip with friends.
