A lineup full of variety shown clear, with launches expected in late 2025 and going into 2026. The show made another proof why this stage remain one of the most important spots for reveals, giving audience a glance of where gaming future is heading.

Gamescom 2025 showcased the very first gameplay reveal for Black Ops 7. The campaign is said to be “mind-bending,” drawing some inspiration from Arkham series, as David Mason struggle with his past while Raul Menendez makes a return. A PvE endgame called Avalon bring 32 players into 4 squads. Multiplayer launches with 16 maps, a brand-new 20v20 Skirmish mode, and an Overclock system for equipment upgrades. Zombies come back to the classic round-based style on an oversized map with a strange Wonder Vehicle. Beta arrives October 2 for pre-orders, October 5 public, and full release set for November 14, 2025 across consoles, PC and Game Pass.
Capcom pulled curtains back on Resident Evil 9, confirming it as the longest entry yet. Set in a coastal town of Southeast Asia, the game leans harder into survival-horror roots while adding supernatural-styled monsters alongside familiar bioweapons. Anxiety and vulnerability mechanics shape gameplay, while players will switch between first-person and third-person view. Aiming for a 2026 launch, it push both narrative depth and scary atmosphere even higher.
At last, Team Cherry confirm Silksong for 2025, though with no exact date. It expand the Hollow Knight world with dangerous new foes, expanded platforming, and deeper combat refinements. Staying true to its reputation, the game promises layered exploration and subtle design touches that fans loved.
Game Science revealed Zhong Kui, a sibling project to Wukong, set in Chinese myth. The trailer shows the legendary ghost-catcher astride a giant tiger, fighting through supernatural battles with striking visuals. Still early in work, the studio promise to balance folklore storytelling with modern action-RPG mechanics. Release timing stays unknown.
Ghost of Yōtei will expand in 2026 with a free co-op Legends update. Similar to Ghost of Tsushima’s mode, players will choose classes like Yuki Onna or Oni Lord, facing demonic giants and supernatural beings. The mode support two-player narrative missions and four-player survival battles.
A cinematic trailer associated with a dark, Souls-like experience in Lords of the Fallen 2 that focused on heavy atmosphere, intense combat, and dark fantasy. At the time, no gameplay was shown, but the game will drop in 2026. The sequel seeks to build on the combat-intensive action RPG formula created by the series and polished combat mechanics, as well as a dark tone.
TT Games also announced LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, which has an open-world Gotham and Arkham-style fighting. The showcase bring trailers, gameplays, and even few world premieres that highlight how varied indie ideas can go. With mix of quiet farming life sims, tactical RPGs and even music chaos, the event proves how indie developers are not slowing down.
Grind Survivors is a roguelike with action and endless demons that come from the underworld. The gameplay is bullet hell mixed with loot gathering, so every run feels different with strange builds and weapons. The release is not fixed yet.
A Storied Life: Tabitha* has similarity with Unpacking, but here you piece together memoirs from a house. By solving puzzles with household objects, you reveal story parts hidden behind them. It is calm, slow but emotional design.
In Beyond These Stars you must build and expand a city on the back of a massive cosmic whale. As the whale floats through universe, players must balance expansion with harmony toward the creature itself.
DarkSwitch combine RTS with tower defense, and players try to secure their community from darkness. There are also strategy parts like civilization style. A demo is out already, but launch window remain unknown.
ROCKBEASTS lets you run an animal band during a crazy rock era. The members are loud and messy, so keeping them toward fame is not easy but fun. It is expected soon.

Light Odyssey follow Bandi who tries bring light back to a dark world. It plays as soulslike with focus on giant boss battles having multiple phases. Launch day is still not mentioned.
MÖRK BORG Heresy Supreme* is a side-scroll brawler filled with blood. Dice checks also decide how some story things happen, blending tabletop mechanics into its fighting design.
Outbound again showcased its cozy-survival identity. Driving vans, recycling trash, and making little homes give warm feelings while survival tasks add challenge. The release aim is in 2026.
Lost in the Open put the player as a king who survive assassination attack. It has tactical battle maps and heavy choices with moral weight. Early Access begins September 26.
In Good Boy, players drive rover LAIKA in a cozy metroidvania setup. There is creature collecting, missions for other rovers, and uncovering hidden mystery of Terra II.

From Viva La Dirt League, Nice Day For Fishing makes fishing into RPG, with pixel graphics, undersea dungeons and humor. The title already launched.
Rebounder is a 2D platformer with horror type visuals. It ask high precision movement and uses unique art. Already open for wishlist.
In Star Birds, players colonize asteroids and mine resources. It mixes relaxing simulation with management style. Release set for September 4.
Arcane Eats has card system with dishes and food. You run a magical kitchen fighting against hunger waves, building a strong cooking crew to survive.
