All callouts on Valorant map Pearl explained

valorant-pearl-map-thoughts-2

Pearl is one of the largest maps in Valorant, which can make learning the callouts tough compared to the simpler options.

Pearl is hands down the most unique map in Valorant for its lore and geographics. It is the very first location set on omega Earth, where alpha agents are thought of as the antagonists. What distinguishes it from other maps is its underwater setting, shielded by a glass dome. The map’s massive size and diverse architecture make it a favorite for veterans, but intimidating for noobs. Tackling Pearl can be tricky, especially on defense. Making a wrong or delayed callout can risk losing the round. Conversely, attackers need to prioritize callouts to maximize communication when executing site takes.

Valorant players looking to dominate on Pearl should start with getting the callouts down pat.

Pearl has two bomb points split by a vast middle area that opens onto both sides. The entry into the B site is connected by the double doors in mid, but players can always head towards A through art.

Art is a risky area for attackers as defenders often play close on A link, which opens into A site. But it’s still less perilous than double doors, where the attackers’ view is blocked by the double doors. Enemies often take a spot on the connector entrance or plant damage-dealing utility on steps.

The route to A site from attacker spawn is typically clear until crane. But, if the offensive side makes it into the site unscathed, enemies often hide in the dugout if they are not in plain sight. It’s always best to take deep control and clear out the entire A site until you reach the default plant, where the bomb typically goes.

On B site, defenders should expect enemies to first appear from ticket. It’s also a popular sniper spot for Operator users. Players should watch for snipers from B halls or screen to take them down early in the round. B cubby is a great hiding spot to take enemies by surprise, if players can reach there in time.

If the team has less surveillance on mid as defenders, there’s always the option to have one player alternate between site and mid using B link. That hallway leads to both steps and mid connector. For quick rotations, use the link hall to enter the mid connector, which opens into the gutter and A link.

Pearl may be a map large, but there are various shortcuts that allow for quick rotations. Unlike other maps like Bind, it doesn’t have any crazy gimmick that can warp gameplay. Still, it’s one of the trickier Valorant maps. Players who know all Pearl callouts by heart and have crisp aim should be able to breeze through this map.
