Advanced Warfare 2 reportedly to follow Modern Warfare 2

call of duty advanced warfare

With Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on the horizon, players are excited to see what’s next for the longstanding FPS franchise. According to the leaker, Ralph Valve, the next game will be Advanced Warfare 2.

The report claims that Call of Duty will return to the future following the two-year game cycle of Modern Warfare 2.

Advanced Warfare 2: back to the future

Advanced Warfare was one of the more controversial Call of Duty games ever released. It was a part of the constantly futuristic development of CoD before they reset and went back to “boots on the ground.”

This is the favorite CoD for some, and the least favorite for others. It also shows the franchise’s willingness to go backward rather than towards new ideas.

Whether or not you’re a fan of the Advanced Warfare 2 news, it will be more than two years before we see it – plenty of time to get into Modern Warfare 2.
