We asked

If you could only play one game for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
Dota 2. The depth of the gameplay, the chance to master hundreds of heroes. You could spend a lifetime playing this game and still have more to discover.
What's a game you think is underrated and deserves more attention?
X-COM: Apocalypse is an unfinished masterpiece. I prefer it to UFO: Enemy Unknown, and wish more of its features and enemies had made it into the new games.
What led you to a career in gaming journalism?
I was a copywriter for several years and slowly lost motivation to write about things I didn’t like. So I made it my mission to write about games for a living.
What's your go-to comfort game after a long day?
When I really need to unwind and turn my brain off, nothing beats some Bejeweled 3.
What's the first video game you ever played?
Galaxy Invader, a Space Invaders clone that was released on its own handheld, the CGL Galaxy Invader 1000. It was a hand-me-down, as it came out about 6 years before I was born!
