We asked
What's a gaming moment that you'll never forget?
GodLike defeating Luminosity at the COD Mobile World Championship semifinals is a moment etched in my memory. Coming from India, it was one of those rare, emotional instances where an underdog homegrown team stood toe-to-toe with global giants, and won. It wasn’t just a match; it was a statement that Indian esports had arrived.
If you could only play one game for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
Apex Legends would probably be the pick. There’s something endlessly satisfying about the movement, the flow of combat, and that rush when everything just clicks in a match. But I’d also sneak in a shoutout to Sifu, its replayability, progression system, and combat design make it one of the most rewarding single-player experiences out there. You can keep discovering new ways to approach every fight.
What's a game you think is underrated and deserves more attention?
The Finals, without a doubt. The team-based destruction mechanics, vertical map design, and sandbox-style gameplay loop make it feel like a genuine innovation in the FPS space. It’s doing things most mainstream shooters aren’t even attempting, and it deserves way more spotlight than it’s getting.
What led you to a career in gaming journalism?
Funnily enough, it started with a rant in a game lobby. Someone, clearly done with my post-match breakdowns, said, “Why don’t you go write about it instead?” That stuck with me. I realized I did enjoy dissecting matches, talking meta, explaining updates, and expressing the player experience. One thing led to another, and I haven’t looked back since. Now, I get to do what I love, make a living by putting players and stories first, and turning passion into words.
