Train was recently added to the competitive map pool in Counter-Strike 2, and while it may look more spacious than ever, gaining B control is as tricky as it was back in 2020. These smokes for Train’s B site may help.
B site is the trickier of two sites on Train, due to entrances that are simply too exposed to CTs. Both low way and highway can easily be defended by two players, one of whom is usually a sniper on connecter. If three enemies are on B site, it becomes a lion’s den. However, all of that can be tackled by a few well-placed smokes.
By blocking off predictable angles that CTs hold on Train, Ts can easily break into the site and plant the C4.
To break into Train, players will need the best smokes to block connecter, sandwich, and highway. Highway, also called scaffolding, is a bit complex to smoke effectively after the new update due to the hut placed in the middle of the ramp. However, it’s still possible to pick off enemies positioned on the highway with proper coordination and timing.
To block the connector, walk into the halls, stand in front of the second wooden pillar, and place the crosshair in the middle of the tile, as shown in the image. Run forward and throw the smoke. This smoke blocks off the connector sniper from peeking both upper and lower.
For sandwich smoke, stand in front of the window panel and place the crosshair between the spot where two wood pieces meet. Release the smoke to block off the sandwich area on the B site.
These two smokes should be enough to gain entry into B. However, is there’s a sniper on the team trying to push in from the highway, this smoke can be useful. Walk deeper into the hall till you reach the arches. Stand in front of the first one and place the crosshair in the middle of the last arch. Throw the smoke to block enemies on B site from spotting the sniper.
Players may find it easier to break into Train’s B site and win more competitive games using these three smokes.
