2XKO is making its mark at EVO France this weekend, bringing fans an exciting mix of competitive action, playable demos, and live events. From October 10 to 12, attendees will have the chance to experience Riot Games’ free-to-play team-based fighting game firsthand, watch top players compete, and even test out new champions being released in Early Access.
2XKO is a 2v2 fighting game featuring champions from League of Legends. It’ll be debuting at EVO France, held at the Palais des Congrès Acropolis in Nice, as the event is one of the biggest fighting game events in Europe. As the fighting game community thrives in LAN events, 2XKO will look to make its mark at EVO with tournaments, demos, and creator showcases throughout the weekend.
But players will not be the only ones happy the game is at the event. Fans visiting the event can dive into a variety of experiences, whether trying the Early Access demo for first-to-three or first-to-five matches, watching the 2 NICE KO community tournament, or participating in live creator showmatches, there’s something for everyone. Attendees can also grab a “moves list booklet” to quickly learn about champions, strategies, and gameplay mechanics.
The 2XKO experience will be centered around two booths on the show floor. As you enter the Palais des Congrès Acropolis, all you’ll need to do is “look to the right of the main entrance columns” to find both booths. They will be open all three days of the event from 10:00 to 22:00 local time, giving fans ample opportunity to play the game, watch live action, and meet content creators.
The main event will take place on Friday and Saturday as community players will fight in the 2 NICE KO tournament, hosted by The MixUp Crew. Anyone can sign up solo or as a duo while fans can either catch all the action in person or tune in on Riot’s Twitch channel.
Meanwhile, the 2XKO demo booth will run continuously throughout the weekend, letting players try every champion in the Early Access build, including the latest champion added, Teemo. According to Riot, controllers will be provided, though attendees are welcome to bring their own, with staff available to assist to change the settings.
The final day of EVO promises a packed schedule of live events at the 2XKO booths. Here’s a rundown:
