The 2025 LCK Awards go to Bdd, Kiin, Oner, Chovy, Gumayusi, and Keria

2025 lck awards winners

The LCK Awards, an official yearly award ceremony, was held on December 19th. This ceremony hands an award to the best player of the year in every role, as well as the best player of the year overall. It also includes numerous miscellaneous titles, such as the Most Solo Kills awards. Here’s the list of LCK Awards winners!

LCK’s Best Player of the Year: Bdd (KT Rolster)

Bdd wins the title of best LCK player of the year! The superstar mid laner took a shaky KT Rolster that nobody had faith in, and took it to the Worlds finals. KT beat the tournament favorites Gen.G at Worlds, and finished 2-3 against T1. As Best Player of the Year, Bdd also wins ₩10,000,000 ($6,769.84).

Other nominees for the title were Chovy, Faker, and Gumayusi.

Bdd’s speech upon receiving the award (All translation credits go to Reddit user /u/Yujin-Ha):

“I know we’re pressed for time, so I’ll keep it short. Well, I honestly had no idea I’d receive this award, so I’m incredibly happy to have gotten it.

Getting to this point wasn’t easy at all, but I think I was able to receive it because my teammates and the coaches and staff helped me so much.

I definitely have confidence that I can do even better next year. While individual awards like this are nice, next year I really want to lift a trophy that we can all celebrate together as a team. Thank you.”

LCK’s Best Top of the Year: Kiin (Gen.G)

Kiin is the LCK’s best top laner of 2025. Gen.G’s top laner won almost everything this year. Looking back, the results will show that Gen.G “only” won two LCK splits, the Mid-Season Invitational, and the Esports World Cup. However, the reality is that Gen.G lost a grand total of 5 series all year long, out of 48.

Other nominees for the title were Doran and Zeus.

Here’s Kiin’s speech at the LCK Awards:

“Honestly, I didn’t expect to receive it, so I’m really happy and honored. I think it’s a very meaningful award. I want to thank my teammates and our coaches who helped make this possible, and also sincerely thank the fans who always support us. I’ll continue to work hard. Thank you so much.”

LCK’s Best Jungler of the Year: Oner (T1)

Despite culminating in yet another Worlds victory, T1 had a shaky year, only really finding their footing at the Worlds Quarterfinals. However, through all of this instability, Oner was the rock that T1 could always stand on. Oner is the LCK’s best jungler of 2025.

Other nominees for the title were Canyon and Cuzz.

Receiving the trophy, Oner said:

“Oh thank you. First of all, I didn’t expect to receive an award like this, but getting it makes me realize that we wrapped up this year well, and that feels really good. This season was one where I cried a lot and laughed a lot too. Next year, I’ll work hard to show an even better performance.

After we achieved our three-peat this year, although it certainly marked a moment in history, we have no intention of stopping there. Next year as well, we’ll work hard to show an even stronger side of ourselves. I hope you’ll continue to give us your unwavering support, just like you did this year. Thank you, everyone.”

LCK’s Best Mid of the Year: Chovy (Gen.G)

Besides Faker, Chovy is the only player in the discussion for who the best player in League of Legends is. In 2025, Chovy was undeniably the best, all the way up until he once again failed to cross the finish line, and lost in the Worlds Semifinals. Regardless, Chovy is the LCK’s best mid of 2025.

Other nominees for the title were Bdd and Faker.

Chovy is currently attending several weeks of mandatory military duties during the offseason. Kiin received the award in his stead, and said on his behalf:

“Ah, I believe Ji-hoon was able to receive this award because he performed consistently well throughout the year, so I’m incredibly grateful to him. Although he couldn’t be here in person to accept it due to his schedule, I hope he can come to this very place next year to receive it. Thank you.”

LCK’s Best Bottom of the Year: Gumayusi (T1)

Gumayusi was the World Finals MVP, and a player who massively stepped up for T1 at the end of the season. It comes as no surprise that he is now the LCK’s best bot of 2025.

Other nominees for the title were Ruler and Viper.

Gumayusi’s words were:

“Oh… I didn’t expect to receive so many bouquets. I’m so grateful to my former teammates who gave them to me. I believe I’ve been selected as the best bottom laner for a few years in a row now. I’ll make sure to show even better performances next year so I can stand on this stage once again. Thank you!”

LCK’s Best Support of the Year: Keria (T1)

Although this is the fifth edition of the LCK Awards, Keria is the only support to have ever won this category. The community even sees Keria as the best support in the world.

Other nominees for the title were Delight and Duro.

Keria said:

“First, I want to thank former player Piccaboo for giving me this award, because when I first started as a support, there was that famous ‘Piccaboo Notepad clip, and I learned a lot from it, so thank you.

Also, I’ve received this award for five consecutive years now. I believe I was able to achieve this thanks to my amazing teammates and the support of many fans over these five years. I will continue to work hard next year to create more beautiful records. Thank you!”

Each year saw categories added, removed, or changed, so some cases are empty. While most awards are about statistics, Riot added the RE:RISE and Sportsmanship award to diversify them. As such, RE:RISE awards a player who bounced back after a weak period.
