Players looking for exclusivity and enough dough to spare should keep an eye on the most expensive skins in CS2.
CS2 is known for adding extra decorations like skins and charms that players can use to personalize their gear. Usually found in cases either in-game or for purchase, some skins can set players back hundreds or thousands of dollars. And some truly legendary skins are so rare, that the right person may even be willing to pay millions.
From gloves to guns and more, here are the most expensive skins in CS2.
Sport Gloves | Pandora’s Box are the most expensive gloves in CS2 at around $54,000 for factory new.
The Pandora’s Box Sport Gloves have been a part of CS2 since the game was CSGO. It was introduced in the Glove case from 2016 and the Operation Hydra case from 2017, which are still the only two in-game places to acquire them. Factory new Pandora’s Box Sport Gloves have a float value of 0.06 or lower, making them incredibly rare drops.
Fans who want to get the Pandora’s Box gloves but don’t have 50 grand to spend need not worry. Battle-scarred gloves sell for a little over $2,000. While not affordable for most, the well-loved skin is still leagues less expensive than a factory new version.
The Titan Holo from Katowice 2014 is still the most expensive sticker in CS2, with prices estimated at $112,000 for a single one.
Stickers from Katowice 2014 are some of the most expensive on the CS2 market and are a prime model of scarcity. Fewer stickers were printed in the first place because of the smaller esports fan base a decade ago. Additionally, they originally cost only a few dollars, so many players put them on and scraped them off their weapons without a second thought.
Current estimates of the 2014 Titan Holo place the quantity at around 60 total. Notably, this number doesn’t include any holos in private inventories or storage units. The sticker comes from the EMS Katowice 2014 Legends autograph capsule, which sells among traders for around $30,000. Players only have a two percent chance of getting the Titan Holo sticker. It is, inarguably, one of the rarest stickers in all of CS2, in addition to being the most expensive ones.
The iBuyPower Holographic Katowice sticker gives the Titans a run for their money as the most expensive CS2 sticker, also coming in at around $65,000. In addition to the general Katowice 2014 scarcity, iBuyPower was caught fixing matches and its players were permabanned from competing.
If you’ve invested in premium skins, knowing how to remove and reuse charms in CS2 can help you personalize your collection even further.
A factory new AK-47 | Case Hardened blue gem pattern 661 holds the record for the most expensive gun skin in CS2 at a sale price of $1 million.
The AK-47 StatTrak™ factory new 661 Scar pattern is one of the rarest designs currently available in CS2. When developers released the skin in 2023, initial reports priced it between $800,000 and $1 million. There is currently only one available, having been sold a minimum of once for $1 million. This made the AK-47 the most expensive gun sold in CS2 history
The present owner is anonymous, but players can keep an eye out for an unusually blue tint on the receiver of an AK-47. In the meantime, they can look at other Case Hardened skins on the market.
Valued at $1.5 million, the #1 blue gem karambit remains the most expensive knife skin in CS2.
At the top of the most expensive CS2 skins of all time is the Blue Gem Karambit, having last been sold for $1.5 million. Notably, the skin has a 387 pattern, which is the purest of the Blue Gem tiers and has no variations. One estimate has the odds of a Blue Gem with a 387 pattern dropping from a case that has a Karambit | Case Hardened at 0.0000000016%.
The sole version of the weapon was unboxed in 2015. Now, the only known 387 Blue Gem Karambit skin is currently owned by Newb Rage, a Chinese skin collector. His rejection of numerous offers has only raised the item’s exclusivity in the community.
Fans looking for other, non-million dollar skins have a plethora of options available to them. As for the true fans of exclusive and expensive CS2 skins, the only thing they can do is try to be the next lucky person to have an offer accepted.
